Time flew by, Ethan just had his Kindergarten's graduation ceremony last Friday....

It's been a while since I updated my blog....We got Great America Season Passes and we went with Gene's old boss Hope and Her kids, Jason and Jessica. We had a blast....Majel is Jason & Jessica bff now....

Thanks for my Mom Que and my mother in-law Gretchen helping me taking care of the kids so I could go to New York, Los Angeles and one day in San Francisco with my cousin Thu from Viet Nam....

Cienna's Hair Cut essay.....

It's been raining in Cali and I hate the rain. I was feeling gloomy because of the rain then I got a call from Cienna's teacher. At first I thought she got in trouble again but then the Teacher started telling me that one of Cienna's essay got selected to representing in the young author fair that coming up in March. I was speechless.....That call made my day....

Here is Cienna's Hair Cut essay.....

Snip, snip! That is the sound of Majel's hair being cut. I will never forget that afternoon she got her on purpose haircut.

My sister Majel was playing hide-and-seek with my brother Ethan. "Majel come here." I yelled. "Why?" Majel yelled back "Because I said so." When she came in I asked her to sit down. I told her I was going to cut her hair. She said "just don't cut me."

After that I said "I won't but your bangs are just too long." Then I started cutting. Snip, snip! went the scissors. Majel said "I'm scared." I told her to shut her eyes. I told her not to be afraid. Finally I was finished. But.....there was something weird about her bangs. Her bangs looked like a half circle.

When Majel looked in the mirror she cried "Ahhhhh" "I look hideous!" she yelled. "I'm not going to school looking like this." "Ahhhh".
"Stop yelling you look fine." I said
"Noooo it looks like a rainbow but, without the colors!" she yelled back at me. She finally calmed down and stopped yelling.

I will never forget that after noon Majel got her purpose haircut. Now if I call her she will sneak upon me and make sure I have no sharp silver scissor.

Cienna's 9 Birthday...

Cienna turn 9 on Jan 24. The Stovall cousin came down to celebrate with us and Grandpa & Grandma Lamoreaux took us out to eat at Armadillo Willy's....She had a great time with the cousins and she missed the LeBaron cousins and Leland....

BLUE

Blue is the color of the sky cool, distant, beautiful and proud.
Blue is the feeling way down low and blue tears on the go.
Blue is the ice in a icy drink you would like on a summer day.
Blue is the quiet sea.
Blue is the shadow on the snow.
Bluel is sometime peoples eyes
Blue is a scarf you wear on a winter day.

Ethan....

Sunday the week of September 6. No church because Grandma & Grandpa were visiting Amy & Allie's family in Texas. We hung out around the house. Gene was in the garage working on his motor and I was catching up all my shows that recorded on DVR. The kids are playing in the living room. I saw Ethan ran back to his room for something so I called him said

Quynh: Ethan, can I get some love and hug?
Ethan: Ok

Few minute later I saw him ran back to his room again.

Quynh: Ethan, can I get more hugs and kisses?
Ethan: Ok

Few minute later I saw him ran back to his room again


Quynh: Ethah, Mommy needs more hugs and kissed....
Ethan: I don't have anymore
Quynh: What? What do you mean? Who did you give it to?
Ethan: Nothing, I gave them all to you, I got nothing left....but I got some gas....do you want some?????
Quynh: uh, no thanks....
